Model is scratchbuilt to represent an early road building piece of equipement.  It features a Stutz Bearcat Wisconsin - Beaver engine coupled to the chain drive unit from a Thomas Flyer.

 

Operator of this vehicle would work from a standing position at the rear of the machine.

 

Main roller and tag-along roller were made from styrene cylinders.  Outer rollers are maed from mack truck wheels. Finish is weathered dirty black from Floquil.  Lettering is dry transfer style.
