Polar Lights Kit No. 6401 1/25 Scale

Paint-Testors Model Master Black and International Orange (engine) - the original paint was stripped with 90% isopropyl alchol and the chrome plating was stripped with Bleche White.  Alclad II was used for all the chrome except wheels.  Various Testor metalizers were also used.  The interior was a red craft acrylic covered with Acryl semigloss.

 

Modifications Include: Bare Metal foil for interior and exterior trim.  The header flanges and bolt holes were drilled out.

 

Scratchbuilt items include: Fuel line, fuel filter, throttle linkage and return spring, tire valves, battery wiring, sprak plug wires, ballast resistor, break line, radiator hoses and seat belts.
